The brothers and sisters of Benedetto Rosario Scovotti

The Donato Scovotto family consisted of the following brothers and sisters. Starting with the oldest, there was Michael, Anthony, Benedetto, Rose, Frances, Joseph, Louis, Giglio, Maria, Unk Child and a Frank. Well maybe a Frank. As to the Unk child, this child could have fallen closer to the top of the sibling list.

There are a number of PICTURE's Needed . Help would be appreciated in acquiring them.

Need a Picture
Michael, the oldest, has the birth date of Abt. 1884. Notes have it that Michael either visited Argentina or moved there sometime during his life.

Need a Picture
Anthony, born about 1885. He was born in Italy as were all of the siblings, and moved to the United States and died there about 1920.

Benedetto Rosario 'Ross'
                border=
Benedetto, born 14 August 1887. He was born in Salerno, Campania, Italy as were all of the siblings. Some stayed in Italy. Some moved to the United States and some moved to the South America.

Need a Picture
Rose, born about 1889 in Italy. She moved to the United States were she met and married Frank Cavallo. There were four children by the marriage, Michael, Mary, Pasquale 'Anthony' and Grace. The order of the children is a guess. Much beyond Rose's passing on 5 Feb 1943 which was recently discovered on page 83 of the Deaths Reported in the City of New York (1943). Nothing else was available at the time of this writing.

Need a Picture
Frances (KiKi) was born 2 Oct 1901 and at sometime moved to the United States. She met and married Pasquale Cavallo and together they had six children: Mary, Grace, Ralph, Antionette, Rose and Jenny. Again there are more questions than answers, but hopefully someday we will have more information avaiable. Here's a recap. Benedetto and his brother Giglio who were Scovotti's, married Maria and Philomena who were Merola sisters. Also Rose and Frances who were Scovotti sisters married Frank and Pasquale who were Cavallo brothers. Ok I got it, I think.

Need a Picture
Joseph was another brother who during his life transplanted himself from Italy to the New York area. Born about 1893, he married Antionette, (no last name) and they had two children Daniel born about 1917 and Greard. More research is required.

Luigi Scovotto
Louis born about 1895. There will be more about Luigi shortly. This picture will be replace. It was taken at the old farm house where my grandfather grew up. It was taken by my parents on a visit to Italy in 1955.

 Giglio Scovotti
Giglio born 22 Aug 1897 in Seude, Roccadaspide, Salerno, Italy and married Philomena Merola on the 22 Dec 1921 in New York. He spent the rest of his life in New York. He was a butcher by trade. There were four children by the marriage: Grace, Rose, Jeanette and Giglio Jr.

Need a Picture
Maria born about 1902 and married and stayed in the United States. Her husband's last name was Alba. The picture to the left was taken in September 1947. The marriage with Mr. Alba produced three children, one boy and two girls. Well that is according to the information that is available.
